@fastenoffyal I keep multiple to make lists, some of them with patterns I own and want to find yarns for, some with yarns I want to find the right pattern for, some with patterns I know I really want to work on soon, some with patterns I have the right yarn/pattern match but need to get in the right mindset for.
I then repeatedly forget about different ones of these lists at various points in time, so every time I remember and find one its like it gives me a whole new set of information again!
@fastenoffyal I love this yarn in general and for this project in particular! It was a very good yarn/pattern match when I was looking for some mittens to make with this yarn and I'm very happy with how its coming out!
(I have a hat and infinity scarf both from FOYAL designers in the same yarn and this will get me a hat/scarf/mitten set in a nice bright yellow which makes me happy ;))

It's always fun when I get to talk to fellow designers about our work. I don't get to do this often, but at least once a year in the Fasten Off Yarn-A-Long @fastenoffyal I get to do this.
This year the format has changed to a more fluid conversation and I loved it.

@fastenoffyal I'd been exposed to a lot, and had a lot of people trying to get me into fiber arts knowing I would enjoy it, but was really hesitant and avoided it for a long time because the way they were doing this was very dysphoria inducing.
Ended up going to nalbinding first back in 2009ish via a ttrpg, followed by crochet in 2019. In less than a year I'd picked up crochet, knitting (via wanting to be able to the knitting puzzle for the MIT Mystery Hunt), and then Tunisian crochet.
