HMPV can progress to severe pneumonia. In otherwise healthy babies it takes up to 8 weeks to clear the immune system. And the test for it is so rare/expensive we havenāt even confirmed the diagnosis yet. But at least the doctor believed us that he IS sick.
Little manās on a nebulizer now, getting albuterol treatment to open up his airways and keep him breathing. He hates it by the way š but at least he can breathe now.
NEVER give up if you think something is wrong. Find a dr that will listen.

I received a report about transphobic posts from someone on newsie.social yesterday, and found out that the individual had an account elsewhere as well. Both are suspended from nutmeg.social, we donāt tolerate discrimination or hate here.
āBoth sidesā arguments are not in good faith. Itās a lie some journalists tell themselves. Trans rights are human rights, and the āother sideā doesnāt deserve to be part of the conversation.

LibreTranslate is an open-source translation service that weāre able to connect to. It doesnāt seem 100% accurate but, like most open source projects, is constantly improving over time.
You can access this via the web interfaceāif someone specified their language in their Mastodon profile, then the translate service will offer to translate the post for you.
