Hello, I'm #newtomastodon, so here's my #introduction

I'm Trotfox, a mobile app dev, networking guy, and hardware guy as well. I try to learn about as many technologies as I can, and have been learning a new programming language every year for the past five years. Currently learning Rust.

I have a cat, so you'll probably see some pictures of him, but I'll mainly focus on developing mobile apps and their backends, since that's what I am experienced in and passionate about.
I was thrown into security a few years ago after a large compromise caused an app of mine to send notifications to all half-million users telling them to vote for Trump.

I'm a big privacy advocate, I created https://PrivacySpreadsheet.com/messaging-apps to help people find better alternatives to existing messengers. Most of my software is open source, including my 5-minute scripts that I write to solve small annoying problems in my life.

I'm open for questions/suggestions if anyone has any, glad to learn from others, share ideas, and get feedback.
