I am a freelance iOS and Mac developer living in Muncie, IN. Currently posing as an iOS developer working in the AR/VR space. Former clients have included Match.com, American Airlines, and Sam's Club.

In my spare time I tinker on an EV conversion project, 3D printing, playing Destiny 2 (as redromelogic) with the Disco Technical clan, keeping our almost 100-year-old house from falling apart, and a pandemic-induced obsession with tropical escapism.

WiFi in the workshop! PoE is pretty slick. CAT6e is no joke. On that note, anyone need a couple hundred feet of cable? I may have waaay over-estimated the distance from the mechanical room in my basement to the detached garage.
Looks like Xcode previews can't handle spaces and/or apostrophes in a directory name 😞
I feel like this captures the zeitgeist of 2024.
Getting the side room in the garage into shape. First step, some demolition.
@ivory You may have already gotten reports about it, but it looks like my system thinks Ivory is preventing sleep.
Modified the harbor freight welding cart so I could put both my tig and new mig welder on it. Designed new brackets to hold 2 gas tanks instead of just one. Lessons learned: A) Just have Send Cut Send powder coat it. B) Make sure to double check where your bolt holes are gonna land and whether there are any obstructions 😕

Tig filler rod bracket turned out great. Designed it using the sheet-metal tools in Fusion 360, then used Send Cut Send to laser cut, bend, and powder coat. DXF file available here: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/tritchey/project-designs/main/Tig%20Filler%20Bracket.dxf

Kaizen Foam! I am unreasonably excited about this.
It works! This screen recording is sped up, but I at least have the basics down and can start to look at optimizing it now.
New #vantiki mug day!
