I highly recommend it. I don’t get a thing from them. Just really appreciate how much freakin time it saves me putting the show together. Including the transcript and audiograms. #podcasting #podcastTools

I was skeptical about their Storyboard update at first. It was a HUGE change in UI, UX, workflow, and features. However it’s really evened out in full release. And I will say that even in alpha it let my video guy create a video from my VO in hours not days. So it’s pretty impressive.

HT to @ttscoff for telling me about the app two years ago. Honestly I kept sticking to doing things old school in an separate DAW and only used Descript for transcription. The about a year ago I had some really terrible audio I needed to fix. I figured I had nothing to lose and tried it for editing … haven’t looked back.

Descript is the cornerstone of my podcast workflow. Oh yes, I’ve done all the tools in the past, but it really helped up the quality of my shows, streamline the process, and create cool social videos.
