Ubuntu installed, and thanks to Android USB tethering I was able to get the wireless dongle drive installed.

Now trying to convert one of the media drives over to an EXT4 partitioned drive from the previous NTFS partition.

Windows is finally getting the boot. Switching over my legacy desktop to Ubuntu. Windows 10 was getting super laggy and annoying.

After this, the work machine and my emergency backup on my laptop will be the only windows machines left in the house.

I have had zero issues with this instance but, given the nature of Mastodon, I find myself somewhat unnerved that @TheAdmin has been quiet since last year, even through the huge growth for the past few weeks.

Thinking about making a Mastodon instance specifically for using Tolkien languages. No other languages permitted, except if with Tolkien langs (ie translating) Because my biggest issue in learning any language is having a continuing place to use it and engage with it.

This morning I migrated a blog post from 2014, "Why I love the Un-American Football" to my current blog. It gives my history of being a #soccer fan and tries to share my love for the game.

I wrote it in the leadup to that #WorldCup, and given that we're 48 hours away from this year's WC, I felt it was time for me to pull it over.
