Hypocrites.

You built an industry on scraping the internet and now you’re shocked someone scraped you. You normalized the idea that anything publicly accessible is fair game for training. That’s the precedent you set. I don’t want to hear you bitch about it now.

@snazzyq totally understand 😅 will see if I can swing it anyway. Love what you do ❤️

@snazzyq love this, but is there anything you can do to help lower international shipping costs?

@beccaowen @snazzyq I did exactly the same! 😂 Super happy with mine.

Are you running a custom OS or using XTC to get your fonts that nice?

I’ve been dipping my toes into crosspoint firmware myself. Even (struggling) to help out with the development of it.

“oh, don’t forget to highlight, in bright red, the two-letter word in the tagline! the two letter word that’s kind of the whole point of this clever ad campaign! the two letter word that links this show to the horror movie of the same name!”

“no problem boss. i’m on it”

@aaronmoodie hey there, if you tell me the specific steps you took to get into this spot, I’ll have the best chance of helping (and hopefully preventing this in future!)

My best guess is that the initial progress entry (for 0 pages) is coming *after* your progress entry that sets it to your current page count?

If this is the case, you can navigate to “All History” and move the date for the 0 pages entry to be before any subsequent progress entries.

@simonbs enjoy the LM! From personal experience, their customer service is absolutely excellent! I’m sure you’ll have a much better time if any issues pop up.

@simonbs I *have* though it seems to be very hit or miss. I’m using SwiftUI lifecycle and just using a scheduled background task (that I request every 60 mins). It normally takes a few hours for widgets across devices to fully sync.

My best guess is that the first bg refresh lasts long enough to pull the latest data from CloudKit, and then the subsequent task is able to use the new data 🤷

So this is a little embarrassing — but I’ve only just started learning how to use the new(ish) SwiftUI instruments.

Good news is that Leatherbound is about to get a whole lot smoother!

@aaronmoodie glad you’re enjoying it!

Leatherbound’s import/export format is unique to the app (though it’s just a CSV), so you’ll probably need to wrangle the Reading List export a bit to get it to import properly.

You can generate a template by exporting from Leatherbound first—that’ll show you the columns it’s expecting.

Hope that helps!
