It’s frustrating when a tool you’ve championed for years starts "nickel-and-diming" features that used to be standard. Removing the iOS app access from the Mac license won’t get me to spend more, but it has cost @Sketch my recommendation.
I got a new bag to replace my $15 AliExpress daily carry. This one was way more than $15 but I really liked how it was made in Melbourne. There’s so few things I can carry on me all the time made where I live. Lifetime warranty too.

OG App is the coolest app you never heard of. Back in 2022, two teenagers unilaterally disenshittified Instagram by making an "alt-client" that restored all the parts of Insta that made it a success and blocked all the antifeatures that Meta crammed down users' throats after they had them locked in.

Where once it seemed unimaginable, there's now a growing desire to imagine a life beyond Apple's product and ecosystem. Professionally, there are still products I rely on that aren't available—or have sufficient alternatives—on Linux, but I don't see this being true for long.
