Places I have been molested by cis men often in broad daylight and/or in public and in any case with zero consequences: The street, public transport, pubs, hobbyish-clubs, event queues, my own home.

This petition has it spot on. None of the cruelty aimed at trans women will protect anyone from predatory cis men.

@Knittingdancer I've got a Dell (big beast of an ex-business laptop, bought to do everything the desktop used to) running dual-boot Lubuntu & Windows 10. I can't recommend the specific model, because it's possibly not upgradeable to Windows 11, but Dell as a manufacturer do cater to/support Linux to a certain extent. Everything works - mostly better in Lubuntu than in Windows - but I did have a moment where Linux saw the shared data partition as corrupt, and I had to ask Windows to fix it.
