She and several other members of the #Progressive caucus have voted "No" on other funding bills (always when they know they have more than enough votes to pass) to record their protest to additional military spending, ICE funding, etc. AFAIK, they always discuss this with leadership before the vote.

Hi Elise! Great to see you here, too! Love it! Yes! I also canvassed many times in two states, FL and NC, and called and texted with the local orgs when I was at the regional HQs. The waves of positive responses were amazing early on. The fear from primary voters as we drew closer to the end was less so. Oh I also donated whenever I was able to, especially after significant campaign events and debates. Would do it all again in a heartbeat! Thank you! 💚 my #WarrenDemocrat family! 😊

On #iOS, i hear Metatext (free) and Toot! (paid) are the apps to used for #Mastodon, but i don't have experience with those apps yet. Maybe give those a try, and you'll find an easier cover photo feature on one of them!

@PamRickel Wow, that sounds pretty tough. I'd only been using the #birdapp actively since 2016, though I'd made an account many years before. I only had 1k followers (almost all mutuals) but they were a group of awesome people with great ideas and interesting stuff to share. But like you, I refuse to knowingly support a business that promotes hate and disinformation. I'm still amazed at how quickly the tone and tenor of the #birdsite changed after the acquisition.
