@kristinHenry okay, i guess it's off-topic for the server too. Just curious, is it just people being tired about hearing about that topic or being offended by it? for my own understanding

@esoriano i believe this can be done with a single --recursive delete. I deleted hundreds of millions of objects and never paid so much..if you do it via individual delete object calls in the web interface it would take days and cost this much, but.. why?
Brian BucklewHonestly people say Earth probably isn't special but I bet tourists would come see a solar eclipse; a dual-planet system with the uninhabited partner being the exact same size as the local star during the eclipse has to be some rare bullshit no matter how you cut it.

Germany 2023, sitting (for an hour) in a dentist's office hearing the assistant calling another doctor to explain how she tried FAXing them sensitive patient info three times and it didn't work, so she'll try it again. I pay 15% of my income for this..
@diaeter @juergen_hubert I wouldn't say it's bad, but more of a silly excuse, commonly repeated. Many say public transport is too unreliable to use for commuting. Millions of people commute via bus and train. Some people have a valid reason why public transport wouldn't work for their commute. Shades of grey. I like the idea of low-car societies, no car is too absolutist. German is high-car, USA is car-only.

@belcher @juergen_hubert well I'm glad you enjoyed it and the luas has been one of the success stories. Smaller cities in Ireland like galway want to solve everything with cars and bypass motorways. I am from Galway and I wish they'd reconsider something like the luas to make it more liveable and clean.
