I’m guessing that all those conservatives who voted for a promise of lower taxes weren't expecting it to be from reporting capital gains on investments.

Well, it finally happened. After 15 years of owning a cat and probably 7 years of owning a robot vacuum, the two have come together in the worst way: the cat had a poo on the floor and the vacuum found it before we did. 😭

@glennf late to this party, but it also comes down to the personalities of the researchers. I work with several former post-docs and their normal way of working just doesn’t include thinking about documenting things.
- No comments in code (none at all, and it’s not particularly self-documenting either).
- No notes anywhere useful.
- Merge requests and commits that read “check-in”.
They’re wicked smart people, but we are not going to pass audits of our work if it ever comes to it.

It is just stunning that we are now at the point where individual kids are facing multiple school shootings in their brief lifetimes and a significant portion of the country thinks the answer is more guns. Like we should all live in a Wild West fantasy to protect our kids.
