I'd say the finale was pretty satisfying, just like the rest of season 5, but also played it very safe. I feel like GoT season 8 has made it so we won't see particularly interesting conclusions of any big budget series for a long time.

Now I am wondering if all the “no exit” signs are in fact wrong?
