Pharmacometrician or statistician, depending on who's asking.
We are excited to announce a new feature in nlmixr2: mceta for FOCEi. This is a hybrid approach combines Monte-Carlo sampling with the classical FOCEi algorithm bringing flexibility & robustness to nonlinear mixed-effects modeling in pharmacometrics. #nlmixr2 #rstats

To fully realize the potential of our clinical trials, we must go beyond randomization, and use causal inference and pharmacometric modelling and simulation. Advancing both we show that non-linear mixed effects modelling implements the equivalent of standardization in causal inference. Dive into this if you're into #causal #causalinference #DAGs #pharmacometrics, or clinical development #stats.

@djnavarro @MikeKSmith I’d never heard this before, and I’ll take that as confirmation that I’ve been out of the country for too long
@djnavarro @DerriereLaLune Fantastic resource!
@djnavarro Good stuff! Regarding the weirdness of .cpp files containing non-C++ content: this also is responsible for annoyances with RStudio (and presumably other editors?) complaining about parsing errors. You can use any extension, and “.mod” is becoming more common for this reason (at least where I work).

Another pharmacometrics #rstats post, this time about running simulations with mrgsolve

Yet another post in the ever-expanding series where Danielle teaches herself pharmacometric modelling, which I’m certain is thrilling to everyone

@djnavarro Thoughts and prayers
@djnavarro I’m just going to assume you’re subtooting NONMEM here
@djnavarro That’s awesome! I wish it didn’t have to take this long, but it’s great that you’re making this move.
@djnavarro Congrats! 🎉
