Tree of Heaven (Ailanthus altissima), also known as Chinese sumac and stinking sumac.
No joke, this invasive tree has caused over $50K damage just on my property. If you see it, kill it. And keep killing it. It can take years. It will destroy concrete sidewalks, retaining walls, and foundations. It also kills native plants. It's the borg. Even worse than bamboo. Will grow over a foot a month in Portland.

why do people go to the trouble of putting up up drywall in their shop/shed/basement/whatever, tape it and put one coat of mud on that just covers the tape, and then call it good.
