#nirvana never got to me. Smells like was always on TV. But the music didn’t attract me. It was supposed to be great, progressive and edgy, but I found it bland and stereotypical. I was a young adolescent, what did I know? But that's what I thought. To me it was typical music of the time. Little musical content, with limp chords and flat rhythms. It represented for me the same thing it was opposed to.I always thought music should bring something more universal. #grunge

Ik was een jonge puber, wat wist er van? Maar dat vond ik. Het was voor mij typische muziek van die tijd. Weinig muzikale inhoud, met slappe akkoorden en platte ritmes. Het vertegenwoordigde voor mij hetzelfde als waar het zich tegen afzette.Ik vond altijd al dat muziek iets universelers moest brengen. #grunge
