@bobulous Thread is low power, a mesh network (eg a net powered device like a light bulb extends the wireless action radius) and low latency iirc.

So I'm giving a talk about #matter (IoT) and since I have Matter over Thread devices but don't have a Matter over WiFI device (and wanted to highlight the fact that there are #rustlang and JS implementations), I hacked a smartpixel into the rs-matter example for esp32s3. Note I'm not involved with the rs-matter implementation work/devteam, kudo's to them for making things possible! #homeassistant
