Supercon 2025 Badge Gets Vintage Star Trek Makeover
https://hackaday.com/2025/10/29/supercon-2025-badge-gets-vintage-star-trek-makeover/
I designed a slim case for the #why2025 badge, that prints in one piece, without support, using only 37g of filament.
This mostly sits on the back of the carrier board, allowing add-ons to sit snugly up against the main PCB.
The small sides help keep the faceplate in place.

I have been enjoying the @FreeCAD tutorials by @shawnhymel and have recently been trying out the loft tool to make a handle for a carbide tip scriber.
To store my Sensepeek #PCBite set, I have created CNC cut foam for a small flightcase.
The files are available at https://github.com/flummer/sensepeek-foam if you would like to make your own
If you are interested in #badgelife at #37c3, please stop by our informal meetup at the Labitat assembly on Day 3 at 18:00

Again for Chaos Communication Congress, I have designed a custom #37c3 badge, this time with heavy inspiration from this years #bornhack badge, when it comes to the electronics.
More info and design files at https://github.com/flummer/37c3 and find me if you want to chat NFC or maybe get your own - I made a few extra.
This years #BornHack badge will focus on NFC, sporting an NXP PN7150 on the reader badge and an NTAG I2C Plus on the tag badge.
There is also a Raspberry Pi RP2040 for USB interface and application control.
