The only reason the GOP was ripe for Trump was because people like the Cheneys put power over principle. From Watergate to the Iraq War to fucking birtherism, Cheneys have been happy to undermine democracy if it gets them what they want.

@Pwnallthethings It's unfortunate that jurisdictions could have adopted measures that would make this more difficult years ago, but ignored election integrity activists who fought for hand-marked paper ballots and risk-limiting audits. We still don't have widespread adoption of measures that would improve the integrity of elections and the perception of the integrity of elections

I'm not watching the world cup for reasons. But I don't want to talk about soccer. I want to talk about racism and erasure in major TV shows.

Shows set in New York City like "Sex and the City," "Girls," and "Friends," show an NYC almost exclusively populated by white folk. But real NYC doesn't look like that. 1 in 20 Black US citizens lives in NYC🤷🏿‍♂️

And American made shows like "Emily in Paris," show almost no Black folk in Paris. But:
