Just a 30something Canadian dude who's into #Otaku stuff like #Anime, #Gaming (especially #RPGs, #VisualNovels, and #RhythmGames). Current obsession is #GenshinImpact so right now I'm mostly posting about that. I also boost a lot of art though I'm no artist myself.

Alright, so I decided to spend my gatcha budget so that I could give the weapon banner a try... and ended up "losing" to Aqua Simulacra...which is *exactly* what happened the last time I tried the weapon banner 😂​

Well, it's my first R2 5 star weapon! Looking forward to making Yelan even stronger...

I have the weirdest luck in #GenshinImpact

79 pulls only to end up with Mona.
But then only 3 more pulls and Hu Tao came home ​

...and I didn't even have to spend any money this time, maybe I should take that budget and go for her weapon (I already have Yelan's, so even "losing" the 50/50 would still be winning)

Also I just realized that the subtitles use "Traveler" when Paimon is angry at us, but uses the name we set for the MC when Paimon is not. That's a nice touch.

The humor in this update doesn't disappoint, and I'm only through Alhaitham's story quest so far.

His jabs at Paimon are utterly savage. "You whisper very loudly" got me in absolute stitches ​

Also, Alhaitham and Kaveh are quite the old married couple and are totally boning. ​

Played Genshin for the first time in a week and a half. I lost the 50/50, but got C1 #Tighnari, so is it really losing?

Then I spent some money to get #Itto anyway, because I refuse to pass on him for a 3rd time and want to build a Geo team out.

Hoping I can win the next 50/50 and get #Wanderer as well… but I’ve spent as much as I’m comfortable with, so it’s in the hands of the gods now.

Please #Whale responsibly, kids.
