@OmniGroup I use and love omnifocus. I have found that things sync on my iPhone and iPad and watch so completed items are removed. on my Mac Studio with the latest macOS, it does not sync. ⌘S does not do anything. if I close the desktop app and reopen it syncs. if I complete an item it syncs. but I cannot make it sync without closing it or completing an item.
version: 4.8.7 (v185.7.12)

I updated everything to tot 2, awesome update. how do I update the watch. it still seems to be on version 1
OmniFocus 4.2 Brings Relative Dates to Perspectives - MacSparky

OmniFocus continues to evolve, and with the release of version 4.2 it brings a slew of enhancements that promise to improve your productivity whether you’re on a Mac, iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch (or even using the new Apple Vision Pro). A few features stand out: Custom perspective rules are the big one for me.... Continue reading →

Over the coming weeks, I'm hoping to finalize the server-side groundwork to fix two annoying sync bugs that've plagued the app for a long time:

- Deleted episodes sometimes come back immediately afterward

- When using episode limits ("keep X unplayed episodes” of a podcast), skipped episodes sometimes show up after playing enough newer ones

It's a HUGE undertaking, but I really want to get it done soon.

It's always satisfying to close out feature requests! Especially long-standing requests which have been sitting in our bug database since 2009—in this case, asking for an easier way to break down large @OmniFocus tasks into smaller, actionable tasks from within the iPhone app.

(There are several easy ways to do this in the new #SwiftUI outline in v4, whether you want to add a new child task or rearrange existing tasks into a hierarchy.)

As I am about to start my weekly review, I want to celebrate @OmniFocus, which has been my task management app of choice since 2011 and the only app I know that treats Reviews as a core functionality.
Maybe “Current” instead of “Unplayed”.

If you've ever wondered why so many podcast apps have HUGE settings screens full of little nitpicky toggles, take a look at my mentions.

Everyone wants a slightly different set of often-conflicting behaviors, and there are tons of edge cases to consider with every decision.

Today we updated our online store to make it more obvious that 1) customers are still welcome to license our software with traditional one-off payments rather than subscriptions, and 2) anyone purchasing a one-off OmniFocus 3 license today will receive a free upgrade to OmniFocus 4 when it ships.

(Neither of these items are news. But for casual visitors who might not know how we operate, it doesn't hurt to make this more obvious!)
