2800 words over the past two days. I'm working on a hard-ish scifi piece to help clear my brain of the ghost story :D

today was a 1500 word rabbit hole, haha. i managed to bring myself from a water harvesting prison colony on callisto to a 0.5g constant acceleration ship on its way to luyten-b. my head hurts, and i'm going to bed.

@wion i feel that, deeply. i get about 2 hours at night that is _mine_ with the TV. I'm not caught up on ANYTHING.

@wion i don't think i'm aiming for a 60% reduction. I do think there is much that can be cut, however. I sort of ramrodded the story onto the page, so when i rewrite, there will be much that is just...left out.
who knows, though? maybe it has legs enough to hold up a novella?
