I'm a spare time game developer from germany.
Habe heute dieses Buch in der Bücherwühlkiste in meinem örtlichen Supermarkt entdeckt. Will ja keine voreiligen Schlüsse ziehen, aber der Klappentext klingt schon etwas fragwürdig für mich. Oder bilde ich mir das nur ein?

I got a preview image of my DS tapes!
I'm really excited about this. I used a illustration made by Georg von Rosen as coverart. No title or project name ontop of this. This way you get this "early 90's underground demo tape vibe" I really love. I hope the DS community will receive my work well. Its on the darker, more lofi side of the DS spectrum, not so much the bright Medieval or Fandasy stuff many people like.

Did som further progress on my battle system in ZZT.

Okay! Here we are.
I messed around with ZZT a bit more and here is the first iteration of what may become a battle system. So far there is just one enemy without any AI, but you can already make damage by shooting or running into it.
Very simple so far but I feel like I can use this to build something funny if I improve it a bit more.

Slowely I get an idea what it can and what it can't do.
Very funny little engine.

I finaly did it!
I've added a new psydo-dynamic light system to RogueBox Adventures!
This one is used when you use a torch or similar.
Look at the light/shadow effects on the walls and the little shadows for monsters and objects.
I think this is much cooler than the boring circle of light I used before.

I wasn't able to sleep yesterday. So, I watched some pixel art tutorial videos.
The one about drawing rocks somehow sticked to me.

I posted no update on #rba in a while.
Thats partly because my job took a lot of my attention and partly just because I was lazy.
But I did some nice progress.
I've added pastures to the game that are needed to breed animeals (chicken, sheep, cows). Furthermore I've implemented a simple mechanic for beekeeping what allows to produce wax and honey. On top of this I added a bit new deco stuff. Namely carpets and windows.

Here is a screenshot of the new huge demons in their natural habitat. I called them 'Greed Demons'.
Furthermore I've implementated knockback into RogueboxAdventures. This means if one of this big guis hits you, you#ll move one tile in the opposite direction. If this tile is blocked by a wall or somethin similar you'll get extra damage.
