@kelbot I have had one but never really used it the way others do. thought and still think its entirely pointless and stupid. I have deleted my facebook account quite some years ago and never looked back. I personally believe that a social media platform like facebook is incredibly bad for a persons mental health.
A little collection of cool unix terminal / console tools

Say what you will about mastodon's shortcomings, Instances are an absolute top feature.

The extra degree of voluntary affiliation/sub-setting (?words) is powerful and informative. I struggle to think of a Twitter equivalent.

@agates @thehightechredneck the golden rule never fails!
Hello everyone.
I love the ideal of being a part of a Linux specific social network. Thank you LinuxRocks.Online for giving me my start here. Hope to be apart of a growing group of Linux users and enthusiasts. Hope we have a lot to share with each other... 🐧
Good news though for my work today, a strict Microsoft Shop. We finally replaced our Microsoft FTP server (a nightmare) with SFTP, running Ubuntu 16.04.02 LTS. Small Victories.
@thehightechredneck VS code is better 😆

Heh. Thank goodness for mute.😎

#spacemacs is an excellent IDE, and editor. #vim motions plus the power of #emacs, what's not to like?

Spacemacs is my daily driver. Still use #vim for quick edits, but #spacemacs for serious development/IDE.

YouTube Channel jekor was a tremendous help in getting started with vanilla emacs: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLxj9UAX4Em-IiOfvF2Qs742LxEK4owSkr

Also check out tramp and org-mode, which make emacs even more indispensable.
