@animefeminist Twilight Out of Focus is not a short film tho? The anime is about making a short film with BL theme, but the anime has 12 episodes, and considering that the manga has only 7 chapters and contains explicit scenes, but there are several pairings that have their stories told in different mangas, it's possible that they will combine all the mangas into one adaptation. Unless ofc the original about Mao and Hisashi got another volume but it was not translated to english even online.

Couldn't agree more. I checked the manga to see if there is anything interesting and didn't find much to keep my attention. Also, the designs of women clothing in this show as well as in manga is absolutely atrocious. Female armor often looks as if it existed only to expose the boobs rather to support in battle.

The funniest part is that they think I can't enjoy the show, while talking about parallels between X-Men and real life (i.e watching the show critically, and understanding the core message it is about) IS the way I enjoy media. I guess bigots can't enjoy it unless it's escapism.

And the more bonkers is that they specifically targeted the post about how that doctor refused to deliver Jean's baby. Like how can you see that, see me drawing parallels to real life and go ape shit?

I don't understand bigots. Like at all.

Some bigot: *goes to be ableist on main and then wishes me a happy Easter*

There is no greater love than Christian hate lol.

But srsly, how they can even watch X-Men cartoon and think it's apolitical is beyond me.

This entire cartoon talks about social issues of a minority group all the time, so it feels like those bigoted people watch it and see only "blah blah blah, cool fight, blah blah".
