Failure Frame: I Became the Strongest and Annihilated Everything With Low-Level Spells โ Episode 1
Another revenge power fantasy that will likely be forgotten before itโs finished airing.
The funniest part is that they think I can't enjoy the show, while talking about parallels between X-Men and real life (i.e watching the show critically, and understanding the core message it is about) IS the way I enjoy media. I guess bigots can't enjoy it unless it's escapism.
And the more bonkers is that they specifically targeted the post about how that doctor refused to deliver Jean's baby. Like how can you see that, see me drawing parallels to real life and go ape shit?
I don't understand bigots. Like at all.
Me: *says that X-Men were always woke*
Some bigot: *goes to be ableist on main and then wishes me a happy Easter*
There is no greater love than Christian hate lol.
But srsly, how they can even watch X-Men cartoon and think it's apolitical is beyond me.
This entire cartoon talks about social issues of a minority group all the time, so it feels like those bigoted people watch it and see only "blah blah blah, cool fight, blah blah".

As for other changes, I have argued in my blog, that autistic experience of time differs from NT experience. It's less atomistic, for one thing.
I have realized, that in my world, nothing or no one is ever truly lost (unless we turn away from them). What separates also connects. We have frenpockets that can preserve friends over long periods of not connecting, and NT expectations on how to deal with loss clash with that. Wait...that's an interesting thought. Gotta go!๐
I was talking to a relative yesterday, a christian who was telling me how amazingly blessed they were because they had a need of something that was too expensive new and too difficult to find used and in good shape.
But God hooked them up with someone in their church community who had this thing, no longer needed it, was happy to give it to my relative for free.
They cited another example of being blessed like this when a friend noticed a need they had and found someone in the community who was willing to pay for it for them.
They became quite emotional describing how "blessed" they were.
I wanted so much to tell them:
That wasn't "God" at all, that's communism!
Or as anarchists would call it: Mutual Aid.
This is not God, this is something deeply, essentially, and definitively *human*.
โCompanies have been trying to hide the full footprint of their data centers because they know the public could turn against them if they knew the reality. In The Dalles, Oregon, Google was found to be using a quarter of the cityโs water supply to cool its facilities. Tech companies have been facing pushback elsewhere in the United States, but also across the world in places like Uruguay, Chile, the Netherlands, Ireland, and New Zealand. Now opposition is growing in Spain too, where droughts are wiping out crops and people are wondering why theyโd give their limited water resources to Meta for a data center. But adopting generative AI will require a lot more of those data centers to be built around the world.
The tech industry is constantly incentivized to increase the computing power we use as a society, because that works for their business models โ especially when Amazon, Microsoft, and Google have massive cloud computing divisions. But we never seem to stop and ask whether that additional computing power is necessary to improve our lives. As Hugging Face climate lead Sasha Luccioni told The Guardian, โweโre seeing this shift of people using generative AI models just because they feel like they should, without sustainability being taken into account.โ Everyoneโs jumping on the bandwagon, but itโs not clear thatโs actually in anyoneโs interests but those of founders and investors who are hoping to cash in on the latest AI bubble.โ
