@neil wow. If they’re successful, in that they actually create quality talent, I wonder how they plan to keep them. Gov pays way below market for that kinda role. But maybe they don’t need top quality, just some in house knowledge.

@ShinyQuagsire easy enough to do - I have a Pulse8 CEC adapter which I do/did similar with in combination with libcec and some cursed bash scripts to power my amp on/off with my TV via a smart plug . Making it emulate a usbgamepad via usb-gadget would be easy.

@mwest217 just happened to see this - do you know how? Do you need to sign into corp iCloud in the iPad then? Can’t seem to make it work.
@neil is the “wonder why?” sarcastic or genuine? I assumed they kept tariffs on folders to protect one of the bike brands still building at reasonable scale in the uk - Brompton.
@ShinyQuagsire it’s not SLAM it’s ✨sparkling visual odometery ✨ unless it’s from the mapping region of France 😉
@ShinyQuagsire you might just use the maps to get a consistent reference frame between controllers (and maybe headset)
@ShinyQuagsire it’s SLAM if it builds a map, doesn’t need to reloc or loop close to be SLAM. Though it’d be a bit pointless, other than maybe to trade compute vs memory for landmark detection.
