I love all sorts of cars and want to appreciate how everyone else enjoys cars too. I know little, want to learn lots.

Father of 3, husband to my lovely wife.

Hobbies include the cars, guitar, lego, and a little electronics and computers thrown in.

Mechanical engineer by training, and an enthusiast of the automotive industry. I’ve worked for OEMs at the plant level and the other half of my career has been engineering and industrial construction management.

Volunteer scouter for ten years.

Absolutely fabulous hybrid project. Going to have to check out the ‘insta. Based on the tag, looks like an ‘81 with a VR6 stuffed on the back. Peeking through the hood vents reveals an electric front end.
Ribs. And they were fabulous. Sorry if you are not a meat consumer.
@andydavies check in with both of them in 4 years. But good point. I’m not familiar with UK labour rates but 7/hr seems ridiculously low for any rate. That’s got to be very close to minimum rate. I’m guessing he got a pretty crappy 1st yr apprentice placement.
@wheeljack last lap, end of Saturday, went off track at the last turn on the last lap, right before the front straight, right across from the pit entrance. Hard braking in the turn and….nothing but grass.
@Mark @forsale yes. Yes you do.
@wheeljack we ran Lemons there a couple times. I remember following the crazy guys running the Vanagons getting wheels off the ground on that front turn/elevation drop. They had nerves of steel to sit over the front wheel, up high, and toss those things like they did.
@Basmitharts my DIY ITB conversion.
@Basmitharts my 90 NA Miata
@Mark interesting. Entirely not on my radar, but cool.
@wheeljack Thunderhill is such a great course. Did you run the front or the full circuit?
