This book was on a lot of coffee tables when I was growing up, which means a lot of kids probably had the same unexpected exposure to anatomically correct gnomes rendered in exquisitely scientific detail that I did. And by that I mean they were naked. Completely naked.

Just going through the archives a bit. This used to be one of my favorite places to go when I lived in Los Feliz in the 90s. I left Los Angeles in 2002, but took this on a short trip back a few years ago. Los Feliz in the 90s was a pretty ok place to be.
