i miss pre-musk twitter

genuinely such a unique vibe, for better or for worse. nothing's really been able to capure that since musk bought it

like, x is overrun with racists now, fedi feels very community-focused which is nice but it doesn't capture the feeling that twitter had of being the internet's town square, bsky is probably the closest but i'd say it falls short in capturing the same fast-moving feeling, cohost was more tumblr-esque, i don't think i even need to bring up threads
