How is it that Apple still doesn’t support bike directions in Amsterdam?
The Netherlands is a constant reminder the dense cities and farmland are not a contradiction but complementary
Last night I had dinner with friends “under the river.” Took the last train home, transferred to the last metro, only to find myself 2 minutes late for the last bus. No problem, I picked up what was far from the last bike. Only downside is it meant I had to drop it off today. Seems like a good excuse to stop at the French bakery in the neighborhood of the station.
Why in the world are the 4/14/24 lines in Amsterdam grouped like this? Results in a 8 min gap in services
The Bernina Expeess didn’t disappoint. Well worth the supplement for the pano car though the views from the standard train I’m on now aren’t too shabby either.

It got a little cray yesterday and thanks to a faulty charging port on a train I was low on battery but I did finally make it to Tirano. Even from the crowded replacement bus the views were outstanding.
