Milano Centrale, a really stunning station. (Though more so on the outside.) I love the diversity of the trains on Italian rail. I’ll be taking the dark green Trenord train in the middle of the second shot.
Due to a landslide my train won’t go all the way to Tirano today and there will be a bus… this is a very big train and the busses are going to be interesting…
It got a little cray yesterday and thanks to a faulty charging port on a train I was low on battery but I did finally make it to Tirano. Even from the crowded replacement bus the views were outstanding.
Today is Tirano to Zurich by way of Liechtenstein. Went for the supplement for the observation car and wow is it worth it. Also, a full Sized train going through a roundabout is never going to not be funny.
The Bernina Expeess didn’t disappoint. Well worth the supplement for the pano car though the views from the standard train I’m on now aren’t too shabby either.
