Taking the train can be almost twice as fast as flying for some journeys in France.

In 2023, France introduced a ban on domestic short-haul flights if there's a rail alternative of under two and a half hours. It was brought in to curb carbon emissions, but swapping a plane for a train could also be the cheaper and, it turns out, faster option.

Some intercity journeys can be almost twice as fast by train as by plane, research found.

This is only doing one thing - it's training students to be lazy and not think for themselves.

My sister told me a story of how an aquantance of her boyfriend refuses to do anything (e.g. eat at a restraunt, get on a theme park ride) without first consulting with an LLM.

I've had to help people who are lost in London due to following incorrect instructons from LLM's on how to navigate.

This is not a solution. There was never a problem. All it is is bullsh*t that's destroying the planet.
