The new Route Manager is here! From now on, you can store and organize your planned routes directly in Bikerouter.
You can choose whether to save the routes only in your browser or on Bikerouter's servers.
Saving routes in the browser is consistent with Bikerouter's existing "everything in the browser" philosophy.
Saving routes on Bikerouter's servers breaks with the previous paradigm but allows you to use your routes on multiple devices (e.g., a desktop computer for planning and a smartphone while on the go) and provides preview thumbnails of your routes and the elevation charts directly in the Route Manager.
I hope you find this feature as useful as I do!
A blog post (English and German) provides a brief overview of the Bikerouter Route Manager:

Ahoj @mjaschen und liebe Grüße von den tschechischen @bikerouter Fans 👋
Michal Ozogán (https://ozogan.eu/) hat ein tolles Video über Brouter und Bikerouter gedreht. Er erklärt, wie man die Tools verwendet, konfiguriert, eigene Profiles erstellt, mit mapy.com integriert.
New wheels for my future MTB. Nice two evenings building these. Such a relaxing, technical yet meditative task.
(30mm internal width, 350 dt hubs, brass nipples, Sapim spokes, 28 front/32 rear, centerlock, tubeless ready)
Dynamo light! No more stressing about empty batteries and malfunctioning lights. It's always there, powerful, reliable, ready to go.
For bikepacking adventures and races, I'll also add a USB charger and get rid of big heavy powerbanks and charging adapters.
Hive mind: I'm on the market to buy a gravel/touring bike.
- Rather something faster than downhill MTB
- Must have disc brakes, no opinion if hydraulic
- Pannier racks preferred over ass rocket
- No suspension
- Probably mechanical shifters
- What else?
Local dealer can give me a decent discount on Hook from Bombtrack. Any thoughts?
