Meine Mutter (katholisch, ihr Hörgerät verloren habend): Ich müsste zu dem Heiligen beten, der fürs Wiederfinden von verlorenen Sachen zuständig ist. Aber ich vergess immer, wie der heißt.
Ich (pragmatisch): Du brauchst zwei Heilige, erst betest du zu dem, der für die Vergesslichkeit zuständig ist, bis dir der Name vom anderen wieder einfällt, und dann zu dem anderen.
Katholische Kirche (nicht hilfreich): Es gibt nur 1 Heiligen für beides.

Any peer reviewed work on the phenomenon that LLM+RLHF architectures like ChatGPT readily apologize when prompted, but will merrily make the exact same error next time (in a new interaction)?

I understand how and why this happens, I'm looking for a citeable reference that makes this point (for use in a paper where we argue this is a major difference from how apologies & accountability work in human interaction)
