I'm on Mastodon mainly to speak about tabletop role-playing games and other nerdy stuff. I've played d&d, cyberpunk 2020, gurps, esoterrorists , primetime adventures, archipelago, shock, ribbon drive, heroquest/herowars and many other indie and forge influenced rpgs. I'm not a native English speaker.
@dreamup so the pseudo medieval fantasy is more accessibile but not in the sense of the worl-building but in the sense what we want to achieve gaming in it. Or anyway this is my impression.
@dreamup Trivially, let us not neglect the reality escape effect (which I do not want to connote as negative). Easier in an idealized past than in a future that for historical and cultural reasons the media (books, movies, comics) tend to present as problematic. In short, so much science fiction about the future, talks about the problems of today. So much other science fiction is pure escapism. But how much fantasy talks about a pseudo past to talk about the problems of today?

I'm not a fan of journaling games, this offshoot of solo gdr. They're simply not for me.
And yet I want to point out this one: the last Moon. Because in addition to being a journaling game it is also a video game, or at least it is offered in the video game format.

In my ignorance of the video game world, and partially but not too much of journaling games, this is the first time I have encountered something like this.

I find it interesting.

@gunnar In an eventual trial you would only have extenuating circumstances if you had used real mozzarella as a base.
As far as I'm concerned, I'm a guy who's okay with pineapple pizza! Clearly this is not something I openly tell my friends, colleagues and relatives. At the risk of my physical safety 😁 . They already tolerate that I only drink beer and not wine, I don't want to risk it anymore.
@gunnar The feta would seem strange to most but would probably be tolerated by the most innovative.
Pomegranate and cilantro, on the other hand, would cause serious riots!
@gunnar Okay, just for kidding: I think that combination of ingredients violates some of the basic unwritten rules of coexistence in my country. If I declared around that that pizza looks good, I would be stripped of my citizenship. Zucchini, mushrooms, peppers, onion are usual ingredients. At least for the classic vegetarian...
@gunnar What ingredients did you use for the dressing? This looks tasty.
