Today is Bevy's fourth birthday! As always, I've used this as a chance to reflect on the past year and outline my hopes and dreams for the next year of @bevy

Bevy's Fourth Birthday

Bevy is a refreshingly simple data-driven game engine built in Rust. It is free and open-source forever!

@christianselig i tested in visionOS 1.0.2 and the problem was gone, so presumably it was a bug! i’m still looking forward to having the volume controls in the player though, i find the system volume control strangely hard to activate
@christianselig as an aside, i did experience this prior to upgrading to visionOS 1.0.2 so i’ll check again in a bit and see if it’s still present, possibly it’s already fixed

@christianselig i may have been missing something, but it seemed to have been a “different” volume. it would modulate the system sounds like the click when dragging the window, but not media playback volume.

maybe it’s a bug or just an oversight in visionOS? now that i know how to address it, it’s not a big deal but it was confusing given that it was the first app i tested that played media/audio

@christianselig not sure if you’ve received this feedback already, but i encountered an unfortunate scenario trying to use Juno.

apparently in my rush to speed through setup i had turned the volume way down on one of the system “tutorial” videos. this led to everything in juno being very quiet and the mute/unmute in the embed player not doing much.

eventually i tested disney+ and increasing the volume there fixed it, but having the same volume control in juno would be super nice

@yosh does/will the set of effects include `mut`? or is that covered by linearity?
incredible stuff here Bing
@KevinWho i’ve got quite a bit of react experience, i’d be happy to review and potentially contribute :)
@KevinWho i like it! the more subtle tint works well. i say go for it :)
