Mastodon would be much better if it wouldn't feel so sluggish/slow with the refresh and dynamic reloading of the timeline when you scroll through new posts. Is that a general problem, or a server specific issue?

I ended up getting some 3mm PVC Hard foam board (
https://www.thyssenkrupp-plastics.de/de/schuetzen-und-heimwerken/protex-light.html), mainly because I saw it in my local hardware store and it seemed to have all the attributes I was looking for: very light, rigid, flexible but also extremely easy to cut/work with using just a utility knife.

Dodged it almost 3 years, 4x vaccinated and still tested positive for Covid today. Unfortunately quite strong symptoms (fever, coughing, headache, burning throat etc). The pandemic is not "over". Keep your vaccine status up to date, wear a mask around vulnerable people and be responsible if you are not feeling well and get tested!
