Clothes have always been incredibly time-intensive to make and needed an abundance of skilled labor. It’s really sad how little we understand that now, and how it plays into the dominance of fast fashion that 1) abuses the workers, 2) is bad for our planet, and 3) creates clothes that don’t fit well and fall apart after just a few wears.
Clothes can and should be made to last decades.
