and why is my laptop a problem? here it is. it's a mac. Apple has reserved most of their audio accessibility functions for their own headphones. And I know that says "Beats" but it's a lie. They want the top end in-ear airpods.

My samsung phone, however, will adjust the audio profile just in general, they don't give a fuck. My soundcore headphones can do similar via a built-in equalizer. The Samsung, however, has an audio profile system that mimics an audiology test. It plays some beeps, you tell it if you can hear them. Then it ups the volume on the frequencies you struggle with, as appropriate. Works on phone calls too.

The Samsung phone is why I'm getting hearing aids. Not that I doubted my audiologist but the phone showed me the marked difference in my hearing abilities once the frequencies are set right.
