We don't have mail delivery to our house.
Every few days I drive to the post office to empty our box.
Today I was excited to see young people who I assume walked out of their high school classes protesting.
This is a very red town and these kids are courageous.
They asked me to post their photo on my social media. I feel uncomfortable posting their faces even though they didn't care.
There was a long drawn out line of loud opinionated young people.
It was great!

I have to share.
Summer and her pal are being adorable.
They are almost inseparable.
Summer does let me drag her down the hill for a walk, now and then, but she misses him the whole time.
They were all happy this morning because I promised that they won't ever have to watch the Melania movie.
We are changing antibiotics again this morning and hope the gazillionth time is the charm.

Summer and I were awake early. The sunrise looked promising.
I am a little slower to get ready to go out in the cold. As we watched the sky turn red and purple I scrambled to layer up and get out the door.
Summer was hurry, hurry hurry.
The fog was faster than I was.
Oh well.
The silent fog was calming. I told Summer that the moist air is good for her complexion. She completed her security check before we came back inside to help her pal get his day started.

I was out painting again. Today was a fundraiser for the local urban farm, at the parking lot of my favorite art supply store. Many were painting a chalk art on the pavement, but I wouldn't know what to do with chalk! So I painted some end-season sunflowers. The theme was "Botanical Magic." I had plenty of time, so just enjoyed painting...
