@QasimRashid But asylum isn’t a “get out of jail free” card. Asylum REQUESTS have to be evaluated by the proper officials and may be approved or denied. (“I like it better here.” Is not a valid asylum request.) And an asylum seeker may be detained (in a facility you may or may not like) while their request is waiting to be evaluated. If their asylum request is denied they have to go back to their country of origin, AND THATS LEGAL, TOO.

@Moltz My cousin grew up in NJ. She moved to Arizona for college and stayed there. About 5 years ago a big part of AZ got hit with some snow and ice. I texted her and asked if the East Coast girl showed everyone how to handle a little snow. She told me the big problem is that you can’t get ANY kind of winter weather gear out there. She had to scrape ice of her windshield with a credit card because no one had ice scrapers for sale.

@irishangel123 Thank you for what you do. My wife has just been through treatment for rectal cancer for the last year. (We found out the day after American Thanksgiving and she had her last surgery just two weeks shy of Thanksgiving this year.) All the doctors are telling us she is now cured (their word). All of the nurses that have helped take care of her have been beyond amazing. You do a very difficult but incredibly important job. Thank you.
