@caseyliss @johnlago can confirm, the folders thing bit me once after moving away from manual file acquisition to a more automated, popular search and find solution and I used some utility to auto-create folders and move the files into them. I haven’t had any issues like this since.

@cabel I had a job that took me up and down the I-5 corridor through the 10’s and a bit into the pandemic. I loved that mural the handful of times I was in there. Thanks for saving it from demolition :) it brought back some fond memories.

@caseyliss every time this happens to me it’s because I got “creative” and changed the file or directory permissions/owner, or touched my NFS (*ding!*) export config. I saw your post about proxmox, it’s going to be one of these :(

@christianselig true enough, though sometimes I just like the zen of fixing a thing. If I counted every minute doing things I enjoy as wasted value I’d be in a pretty dark place.

@christianselig mine is also worn and the battery doesn’t hold a charge, but I’m seriously considering cracking it open to do a battery swap myself for these prices.

@christianselig I saw someone else suggest oxyclean, but I’ll do one better. Get a powdered cleaner called PBW designed to clean beer brewing equipment. They sell it in home-use sized containers for home brewers. It’s basically oxyclean plus some surfactants and other additives that will absolutely destroy any and all burnt on organics with just a couple minutes soak. The downside is getting another tray or tub big enough to hold the air fryer tray. Mix with near boiling water for max effect.
