Am spending a few days walking in the Gower. Gorgeous scenery - and much better for the eyes than staring at a screen all day.

Seems that Meta ripped off pretty much everything I've ever written - all the books, obscure articles, everything...

Went for a walk in the Alver country park today, and saw this beauty

Looking forward to finally seeing this out in the wild!

I enjoyed this month's Asimov's magazine more than any issue for years - some terrific stories in there! #amreading
If you are one of those people who obsess over To-Do lists (and I used to be one of them), then I recommend Oliver Burkeman's "Four Thousand Weeks". It will put those To-Do lists into perspective.
Really pleased with the cover of my next book. Very retro!

Yesterday I saw the play "Tom Lehrer is teaching math and doesn't want to talk to you". It was the most fun I've had in a theatre in ages. Wonderful stuff.

To Lehrer is a genius, and there's something uplifting to know there are people like him who have absolutely no interest in fame or wealth.

Saw an interesting clock at Stokeshill Manor - the Nychthemeron, a 24-hour clock.
A view from our holiday cottage - and the sun is shining too!
