OK, I think I'm happy enough with https://clave.run that I'll post about it publicly. It's still a work-in-progress, but I've been using it for weeks now with great success.

Clave lets you run Claude Code in a VM in a way that let's you pretend that it's running locally on your Mac…

In a week, on March 25th, we meet in Zug at Xelon for our next Laravel Switzerland meetup. Yves shares an honest look at what it actually feels like to work with AI every day. Serhii's talk will be announced soon.

Just published my Laracon EU 2026 recap. Lots of great talks this year — highlights for me were Dan Harrin on abstractions, Peter Suhm on unblocking users with AI, and Shane Rosenthal showing NativePHP rendering actual native iOS and Android elements.

Also a good reminder to finally look more seriously at PostgreSQL.

dann gerne hier anmelden 😊

This was a productive train ride: I finally updated the Lambda Layer powering sidecar-browsershot to Puppeteer v24 and added automation to make maintenance much easier.

sidecar-browsershot was updated as well.

On the last leg of my journey home from Laracon EU. Swishing with a train through the south German countryside. Sun slowly setting. World of Warcraft's Westfall theme in my ears. Perfection.
Hallo! #php #kirby #vue #svelte #laravel #FediHire

We, @spriebsch and @sebastian, have been frustrated watching great #PHP articles appear, get a moment of attention, and quietly disappear, while AI-generated fluff fills up search results.

This is why we launched PHP Reads: https://phpreads.com/

Every week, we hand-pick articles from across the PHP community that reward careful reading. No ads. No tracking. No vendor submissions. Just writing that actually deserves to be found.

It's free, and will stay free forever.

PHP Reads - Curated PHP writing worth your time

Hand-curated PHP reading for developers who value signal over noise.
