🚀🤩 Super happy and excited to announce that @freesewing is now on statichost.eu! freesewing.eu is hosted via our global CDN and is already within a couple of days about to surpass 1TB of traffic.

More details to follow 🔥 Thank you @joost for a productive partnership!

@smagnusson that is quite weird indeed! I'm not seeing any problems in my end.

Just sent some debugging instructions via email so we can get to the bottom of this 🙂

Relating to recent problems with the statichost.eu domain on Google Safe Browsing:

All sites are now created with a `statichost.page` domain. 🌐

This domain is also awaiting inclusion in the Public Suffix List (PLS) to make it more secure (e.g. in terms of not sharing cookies across subdomains).

@jaredwhite

Awesome! 🙌 So glad to have you on statichost.eu!

@klu9 Hi! Not a silly question at all, the static/dynamic distinction is not always clear and it's not as black and white as one might think at first glance.

The short answer is: usually not.

A wiki can usually not be hosted at statichost.eu, because most wiki platforms are indeed "dynamic". I.e. they are built around a web application server and a database. However, if the wiki is deployed (published) as static files, then yes.

Do you have a specific wiki platform in mind?

As of a few minutes ago, Google reports statichost.eu as safe again. Thank you for your understanding!

Starting immediately, I'm working to make sure this doesn't happen again. (Separate domain listed on the PSL and a better process for detecting scam sites.)

Unfortunately Google Safe Browsing is currently flagging the entire statichost.eu platform as unsafe.

https://transparencyreport.google.com/safe-browsing/search?url=statichost.eu&hl=en

The reason for this is that scammers created so much phishing content that I couldn't quite keep up. I'm working on a mitigation strategy for this.

As of this moment, there shouldn't be any suspicious content on the entire platform, and Google has been notified about that. So now we just wait for Google to confirm this. 🤞

@konstantin The auth boss really is a rather tricky one! Godspeed! 💪😃
@elisavetsky Yes, finally here! And thanks for the tip regarding verification, still getting the hang of it :)
@elisavetsky are you still looking to switch from Netlify? If you need any help, or if you want in on the CDN beta, please let me know!
