Here's what I've learned after three weeks in the Fediverse:
β· Follow lots of accounts & hashtags, there is no algo to select content for you!
β· Use hashtags liberally to connect beyond your immediate bubble
β· Metatext is a great Mastodon mobile app
β· Use Content warnings (CW) liberally - think of them as subject lines
β· Mute/block vigorously (no different to the birdsite)
β· Be respectful
β· Enjoy the calm π
