AOC on the CNN Trump disaster:

“This falls squarely on CNN. Everyone here saw exactly what was going to happen. Instead they put a sexual abuse victim in harm’s way for views. This was a choice to platform lies about the election & Jan 6th w/ no plan but to have their moderator interrupted without consequence.”

Your reminder CNN both-sides’d Trump since 2016.

And CNN is owned by Trump supporter John Malone

Boycott CNN forever.

Why billionaire John Malone’s shadow looms over CNN

CNN is now owned by Warner Brothers Discovery, which wants it to change. So does board member and cable TV giant John Malone.

@parkermolloy Unfortunately Trump and the Federalist Society damaged our judicial system by appointing right wing judges who, in some instances, seem to be guided by ideology rather than neutrality and objectivity. The effects will be felt for a long time. For example, in the Dobbs decision we saw how precedent was tossed aside as a guiding principle, and the fundamental right of a woman to autonomy over her own body was ignored in the legal analysis.
@parkermolloy If the bill is enacted into law it will probably be challenged in court and struck down.
@rbreich They think I’m too old? Just watch me!!
@chadloder far right extremism or fascism is an authoritarian form of government. Whether or not there can be left wing authoritarianism (there can be) is not the issue. The point is that far right extremists do have beliefs and they have a political worldview. They believe in a dictatorial form of government that takes the form of a police state. They do not believe in democracy, representative government, or a system in which the citizens choose their leaders.
@chadloder authoritarianism is a political worldview. Far right extremists and fascists have beliefs. Militarism, racial superiority/inferiority, wiping out dissent, muzzling the press, and eugenics for example.
It would have been perfect if on January 6 Democrats had gotten behind Liz Cheney or Adam Kinzinger and, together with moderate Republicans, had elected one of them as Speaker.
@voron Yes
Liz Cheney or Adam Kinzinger for Speaker!
