BTW, when the Big Tech bros wax poetic about eliminating passwords by requiring passkeys, you can bet they probably don't deal with anyone who doesn't have a phone and whose only access to the Internet is public computers like in libraries. And please don't suggest that someone who may have all their possessions in a shopping cart carry and use a Yubikey (even if USB ports weren't blocked on public computers, as they often are). The Bros often don't have a clue about the real world.

We are planning to update apk-tools to 3.0 in edge repository on July 1, 2025.

We are keeping the apk 2 index and package formats for now, so everything *should* just work, but scripts parsing the output of apk may need to be adjusted.

I never thought I'd see the day where I’d be sitting in a hearing, hearing about a 200% property tax increase in Kaufman County. That’s not a typo. That’s not a misunderstanding. That’s our new reality.

This isn’t just about taxes. It’s about the erosion of the American dream. The one where owning your home meant stability, pride, and a future you could build on. Now? It feels more like you're renting from the government with no lease agreement, just an ever-growing bill.

At this rate, it makes more sense to rent than to own. At least renters know what they're signing up for. Homeowners? We’re just waiting for the next bombshell wrapped in county jargon.

How did we get here? And who’s fighting to stop it?

Some run ancient software and/or are rooted at all times though, so probably not the best daily driver. (also won't fit most pockets)

Next-level: Put them in IKEA self-help kiosks. "I need this and this and this and that and that..." *map-and-checklist pops out of the printer* Ah! It's a QUEST!

A screenshot is better. This is likely tempurature paper printer, with heat and no ink. It will ureadable in 6 month or after a hot summer.

@kiwa depending on the thermal printer, it may be saved on a Chinese server somewhere. The drivers send everything to the server and then prints from the server. I had a thermal printer that did that so I stopped using it.
