Will McGugan@cstross Did you follow the news about builder dot ai ? They claimed to use AI to build software, when they were really just outsourcing it.
Turned out the AI stood for Actually Indians.
@willmcgugan Not exactly: what builder.ai was doing was "AI-washing"—actually they were a bog-standard software body shop, but *claimed* to be using AI to do the job. They are also "round-tripping" contracts to bloat their revenue reporting.
